Cornerstones Health

A website guy
in their corner.

Cornerstones Health helps clinicians keep learning. I helped their small team get new programs online and useful resources into people’s hands.

Keeping pace with their programs.

Cornerstones Health brings clinicians together to improve care for people with inflammatory bowel disease. For Debi and Erin, keeping the website current meant making room for another round of program details, registration links, and resources alongside the work of running those programs.

I worked with them on the website as those needs came up. They could send over the details of a new program, ask for help with a webinar, or talk through a form that wasn’t behaving as expected. I handled the updates and troubleshooting, with the benefit of knowing how their site was put together.

A clearer path to the checklist.

The IBD checklist is one of the practical resources Cornerstones makes available to clinicians. Debi and Erin needed the download process to work for visitors using either the English or Spanish version, while keeping a record of the requests for their team.

I updated both forms so a completed submission took visitors directly to the PDF. Entries were also saved in WordPress, giving Debi and Erin access to the information collected through the forms.

To make that part easier to manage, I recorded short walkthroughs of where the entries lived and how to find them. The team had a reference they could return to whenever they needed to look up a submission.

“Thanks so much for your super quick work on the PDF checklist download process for the website”

Someone who knew their website.

The relationship also covered the less visible work of keeping the website useful. I added spam protection to the sign-up form and connected submissions to a Google Sheet, so Debi and Erin could review new registrations together in one place.

In April 2025, when the site went offline, they had someone who already knew it to call on. I restored the site and took over its hosting later that month, bringing the hosting and day-to-day website support together.

“Amazing! Thank you for always being so responsive.”
